Choosing the right self-storage size helps you avoid paying for unnecessary space while making sure your belongings are not packed too tightly. Storage Masters provides ground-level 10ft and 20ft drive-up containers near Mansfield and Sutton-in-Ashfield.

Choose a 10ft Container for Smaller Storage Needs

A 10ft container is suited to decluttering a room, storing boxes and smaller furniture, student belongings, decorating projects, trade tools or a compact quantity of business stock. It can also work well when you need regular access but do not require the capacity of a full-length container.

Choose a 20ft Container for Larger Loads

A 20ft container offers approximately twice the length of a 10ft unit and is better suited to larger furniture loads, house moves, renovations, bulky equipment, substantial trade tools or growing business stock. It gives customers more room to organise belongings and create an access path through the container.

Both Sizes Are Spray-Foam Insulated

Every Storage Masters 10ft and 20ft container is a modern one-trip unit, spray-foam insulated and ventilated to help reduce condensation. Containers are positioned at ground level, allowing customers to drive directly to the storage area for convenient loading and unloading.

10ft and 20ft Storage Prices

A 10ft container costs £100 per calendar month including VAT. A 20ft container costs £150 per calendar month including VAT. The minimum rental is four weeks, followed by a flexible rolling arrangement.

Think About Access as Well as Volume

Consider the largest items you need to store, whether you will add more belongings later and how frequently you need to retrieve things. Leaving a central walkway and clearly labelling boxes can make either size easier to use. Do not place damp items into storage.

Secure Daily Access

Customers hold the key to their own container and receive a unique gate PIN. The site has CCTV, floodlighting, controlled access and secure perimeter protection. Access is available daily from 5am until 10pm.

Still Unsure Which Size to Choose?

Contact Storage Masters and describe the furniture, tools, equipment or stock you need to store. We can help you choose between a 10ft and 20ft container before you reserve online.
